1st of October 1960 will always remain an unforgettable day to every single Nigerian. It was a day Nigeria became independent and was given total freedom to manage her affairs as a sovereign nation.
Therefore, in managing the affairs of our beloved country, it is very important to give attention to the environmental issues affecting Nigeria, because the environment is vital to humans as both man and his environment share a very strong relationship together.
With the current environmental issues ravaging the world presently, it is imperative that the younger ones know about these problemas and understand the reasons behind the problem. Therefore in our bid to achieve our aims and objective which is helping to achieve a sustainable environment and in commemoration of Nigeria at 62, TGED Foundation visited Aisegba community Grammar school Aisegba Ekiti, Ekiti State on the of 7TH October 2022, with the aim of educating the pupil on climate change and waste mangement , and the need to pay more attention to environmental matters.

Every single Nigerian has a role to play in ensuring a better and safer environment for our future generations. It is up to us to come together with eco-friendly ideas which will make our planet, especially Nigeria, a better and safer environment for all her citizens.
