Climate change remains the biggest environmental problem facing our planet today. The effects of climate change are wide , they don’t affect animals and plants alone , but also human life as well. Education on climate change is very important , it remains a strong tool in fighting such environmental menace . Education on climate change is important to children ,especially school pupils who are our younger generation. This is because such knowledge will help them grow with sustainable and environmentally friendly habits.
In other to promote and continue the fight against climate change, Triple Green Environmental Development Foundation continued her Eco Savers School Project , which was targeted on helping to achieve a well healthy and sustainable environment through educating people , especially school pupils on climate change, its causes, effects , and ways on how to fight it. The foundation was at Saint Lawrence Nursery and Primary School Ado Ekiti on the 8th of july 2022 to continue with her ESSP the program.
The presentation of the program was done by a staff of Triple Green Environmental Development Foundation , in his presentation, he stated that the planet is degrading on a daily basis, this is mainly as a result of man’s inability to critically pay attention to the changes that is occurring in his environment. He further urged the pupils to be very attentive to all that will be taught that day and to follow the steps in making our environment a better place to be.

Next was a video which was played before the children ,this was to help in informing the pupils about how urgent it is for us all to come together and fight climate change. This was followed by a pre test and post test questions, which was to help in knowing the childrens”s level of knowledge regarding climate change. After the pre question and post question on climate change, the pupils asked various questions on how can they help in fighting climate change and also how they can help in spreading the news about climate change. This was well answered by a staff of TGED foundation, he said , as little children, we can start by educating our siblings, friends and even our parents on climatic issues , its effects to our environment , and ways on how to fight it, we must act with all seriousness and commitment so as to achieve our goal.

As the world continues to strive in ensuring a better and healthier environment for all lives on earth, it is important to create awareness so that our planet will become a better and safer environment for all lives on earth.
