INTRODUCTION
The volunteers’ onboarding commenced with the program manager [Adeleye Adeola] who was the moderator for the programme instructed the volunteers to register their name with their respective locations as she welcomed the volunteers into the organization and explained the agenda for the onboarding programme. Triple Green Environmental Development Foundation (TGED foundation) team introduced themselves to the volunteer starting from the content team to the program team and finally the advisory council and the Founder of the organization. The CEO/Founder of TGED Foundation Ms. Oluwaseyi Ebenezer welcomed the volunteers into the team and admonishes everyone to know that they are part of the team irrespective of their various locations. She further congratulated them on their successful applications as over 60 applications were received, and she is excited to welcome onboard the qualified and passionate individuals who will push the organization into achieving greater results through their expertise.
PRESENTATIONS
MISS. ADELEYE ADEOLA [the Program Manager TGED Foundation] introduced Triple Green Environmental Development Foundation (TGED Foundation) as a not-for- profit organization stating the vision and mission of the organization. She also mentioned the core values and code of conducts of the organization and emphasized that all volunteers are o abide by the organization’s core values and code of conduct as everyone is now a representative of the organization in their respective locations. She also went further to highlight the several projects and achievements made by the organization and admonished every volunteer to follow the organization social media pages as well as like, comment and share every activity and project by the organization on their individual social media pages.
Miss. Hamzat Bukola representing the content team introduced the importance and need for creating good content highlighting the expectations from the content team and the various form of content which could be in graphics, quote, blog-post, newsletters, research findings.
Mr. Adewumi Paul representing the social media team introduced the volunteers on the need to understand the various importance and target audience on each social media platform- Facebook, Instagram, twitter and LinkedIn as well as the reasons why regular engagement on social media pages is important. He further highlighted the call to action for the social media team volunteer which includes; real-time reporting of activities on social media platforms, creation of engaging post and to build more online presence by liking, sharing and commenting on all social media post.
