TGED Foundation, a beacon of environmental sustainability embarked on an advocacy visit to the office of the National Emergency Management Board [NEMA]. This significant meeting convened on the 20th of February 2024, with a twofold objective: to extend a warm welcome to the new State Director and to reignite the longstanding relationship between the two organizations.

Introduction of TGED Foundation: Ms. Oluwaseyi Ebenezer, the CEO of TGED Foundation, conveyed their sincere regards to the newly appointed State Director, Mr Kofoworola expressing eagerness to collaborate with the agency. Additionally, discussion centered on exploring avenues for synergistic efforts to address environmental challenges and enhance resilience in the face of natural disasters.Β
2. Collaboration Opportunities: The Foundation expressed keen interest in collaborating with NEMA on a spectrum of environmental initiatives, ranging from awareness campaigns to community engagement and other environmental sustainability programs.
3. Appreciation and Encouragement: Mr. Kofoworola, the State Director of NEMA, reciprocated the warm sentiments and promise to work together with the foundation. He discussed further that the agency is also working towards their plan for the year and the update will be communicated to the foundation once itβs finalized.
